These terms cover the Gramello website, account-free food diary apps, and food-lookup services provided by Edward Herbert II ("Gramello," "we," or "us"). Contact gramello@edwardofclt.com with questions. By using Gramello, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Any rights that applicable law does not allow you to waive still apply.

Who can use Gramello

You must be at least 13 years old to use Gramello. If you are under the age of legal adulthood where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these terms and supervise your use. Do not use Gramello where doing so is prohibited by applicable law.

No Gramello account is required. You are responsible for the security of your device and any backups you choose to use. Store accounts used to buy or download the app are governed by the applicable store's terms. Do not share passwords, sign-in codes, or payment-card details with support.

A tracking tool, not medical care

Gramello helps you record foods, nutrition, water, and personal goals. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or individualized dietary advice. Goals and example values are not a prescription or a recommendation for your needs. Consult a qualified health professional about medical conditions, dietary restrictions, or changes to your nutrition or hydration.

Do not rely on Gramello to make emergency or safety-critical decisions, including medication dosing, allergy management, or treatment decisions. If tracking food is affecting your wellbeing, consider pausing and seeking appropriate professional support.

Food information and your entries

Nutrition information comes from external databases, restaurant publications, and custom foods you add. It may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. Portions, preparation methods, and products can vary. Check current packaging and relevant manufacturer information, especially for ingredients and allergens.

A Verified label identifies a published food-data source; it is not an independent laboratory measurement, medical endorsement, or guarantee of accuracy. An Unverified custom food has not been verified by Gramello. Calculated totals and trends are estimates based on the information entered and available sources.

You are responsible for reviewing the food, serving, unit, and amount you log. Changing a saved recipe does not change previously logged diary entries.

Your content and device storage

You retain any rights you hold in your entries and saved content. The app stores, processes, and displays that content on your device to provide the features you use, as described in our privacy policy.

Your diary, water entries, goals, saved meals, and custom foods are stored on your device. Gramello does not keep a server-side copy of your personal tracking data or provide account-based syncing between devices. We cannot export or restore your diary from our servers.

You are responsible for managing your device storage and any backups. Backup, transfer, and removal behavior depends on your platform and settings. Do not assume that buying the app on another platform transfers your existing diary.

Acceptable use

Use Gramello lawfully and respect other users. Do not:

• Access another person's device or private data without permission.
• Use the service to transmit unlawful, abusive, or infringing content.
• Upload malware, bypass access controls, or interfere with the service.
• Overload the service or its food-data providers with abusive automated requests.
• Misrepresent your identity or imply an endorsement or affiliation that does not exist.

If you discover a security issue, email support with enough detail to investigate and avoid accessing or exposing anyone else's information.

Availability and changes

Online food searches and barcode lookups require an internet connection. Features, data sources, and supported platforms may change, and outages can occur. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, a particular food database result, or recovery of data lost from your device or backups.

We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to address a breach of these terms, protect users or the service, or comply with law. Where practical and lawful, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. You can stop using Gramello at any time and manage app data on your device. There is no Gramello account to close.

Downloads, purchases, and third-party services

Android and iOS are each offered as a separate one-time purchase, with all app features included. There are no subscriptions or additional feature paywalls. A purchase for one platform does not include the app on the other platform.

The paid mobile releases are being prepared; the website does not promise a release date. Availability and prices are shown in the relevant purchase listing. Use the official purchase links on our website when they become available.

Purchases and refunds are handled by the store or seller where you buy the app, under its applicable terms. Apple handles App Store purchases and Google handles Google Play purchases. See Apple's Report a Problem service for help with an Apple purchase. These terms do not limit any mandatory refund or consumer rights. We do not receive full payment-card details from either store.

Purchases, download links, website hosting, and food information involve third-party services. Their terms and privacy policies apply to your use of their services. A link to another website does not guarantee its content or availability.

Intellectual property

Gramello's branding, website, and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. You may use the service for its intended purpose. Do not copy our branding to impersonate Gramello or imply our endorsement. Third-party data, software, images, and trademarks remain subject to their respective owners' rights and applicable licenses. Any license expressly included with repository code or third-party material governs that material.

Disclaimers and responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Gramello is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee a health, fitness, weight, or nutrition outcome from using Gramello.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the service, including losses caused by inaccurate third-party food information. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or any mandatory consumer protections available to you.

Privacy, ending use, and disputes

Our privacy policy describes how information is collected, used, shared, and retained. Your personal tracking data is held on your device, not in a Gramello account or server-stored diary. Manage it in the app and through your device and backup settings. See support for help with your data or a privacy request concerning information you have sent us.

If a dispute arises, please contact us so we can try to resolve it. These terms do not require arbitration or waive your right to pursue a claim in a court or with a regulator available under applicable law.

Updates and contact

We may update these terms as the product changes. The effective date identifies the current version. For material changes affecting existing users, we will provide notice through reasonable available means and obtain consent where required by law. If you disagree with revised terms, stop using the service and contact support with questions about your data.

If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining terms continue to apply to the extent allowed by law.
