Set targets in Settings and log water in Diary. Water entries are separate from food, calories, and macros.
Set calorie and macro goals
- Open Settings and find Daily goals. Edit goals in the diary also takes you to Settings.
- Enter a calorie target or adjust protein, carbs, and fat in grams.
- Review all four fields. Changing calories preserves your current macro split; changing a macro changes the calorie target.
- Tap Save daily goals and look for the saved confirmation.
Gramello calculates 4 kcal per gram of protein or carbs and 9 kcal per gram of fat. If all macros are zero when you set calories, the editor starts with a 30/40/30 energy split. You can adjust it before saving.
Goals apply across the diary. The app compares past logged days with your current targets; it does not keep a history of earlier goals.
Choose a water goal and unit
- In Settings, scroll to Daily water goal.
- Choose mL or US fl oz under Water unit.
- Enter your target in the selected unit and tap Save water goal.
Changing the preferred unit converts the display; it does not add water entries. The goal applies across your diary and is saved separately from calorie and macro goals.
Log a drink of water
- In Diary, check the selected date and find Water intake.
- Tap a preset amount to log it immediately, or enter a Custom water amount and tap Add water.
- Check the updated total against your daily water goal.
Each tap adds a new entry. If you tap twice by mistake, remove the extra entry. Log drinks with calories separately as food when you want their nutrition included in your calorie and macro totals.
Remove a water entry
In Water intake, tap Show water entries, find the amount to remove, and tap its trash icon. Removal updates that day's total immediately.
